Baan Khaolak Beach Resort, Khao Lak

I had a lovely stay at this hotel with beautiful grounds and a stunning beach area. The pool was great, and the breakfast was delicious. However, I faced some issues with my bungalow room's connectivity and noise levels which really affected my experience. It's a nice place for couples but not ideal for families with young children due to some safety concerns.

The staff, especially Anne, went above and beyond to make our experience special, even providing a wheelchair when we had trouble with our mobility scooter. The hotel was quiet, being off-season, but still offered easy access to nearby shops and restaurants, making it a great choice for couples looking for a getaway. However, we did face a bit of rain during our stay and had some pesky mosquitoes to deal with.
